In particular, it focuses on teaching vocational or practical skills related to a specific industry, and assessing students, to determine that these skills have been effectively taught and acquired. Workplace trainers are highly valued in Australia, with many of them working in the vocational training system. They may also be known as trainers and assessors, VET teachers, vocational teachers or trainers, or workplace trainers.
